Many women including myself wish to claim that the male segment of our population knows nothing about love and romance. African men especially get tons of criticism for been un-romantic and incapable of expressing their emotions. From personal experience I would say that this is not true, some of the most romantic men I dated are African. However, what is romance really? I like to define it because the expression of affection . In this article I define romance through the utilization of a number of my favorite African love quotes.

Africa has been marked by a scarcity of books, especially picture story books for younger children reflecting an African environment both in textual context and illustration. This article gives an overview of the present situation for writing and publishing creative literature for children in various parts of Africa, and assessing prospects for the development of that sector.

When you're a child you have the dreams and the goals of a child. Everything inspires you to wuthering heights. I watched Funny Girl so I thought well I can do that to. It doesn't seem so hard. All I had to try to to was attend film school and learn the craft, the art of film-making, become my dream (which was to be a documentary filmmaker) but later after watching all of Spike Lee's films I decided why not go all the way? Why not write, produce and direct a film. But then as you grow older, you goals change. The dreams you had when you still had that shine of angelic innocence on your face was like a blank slate. It's hard to dream big when nearly all your classmates are of the opposite sex. They never acknowledged me. Said good morning to me. They can carry the heavy equipment. They won't help you when you need them to help you with something, (and you're too afraid too ask for help because you're just a girl right, what wrong with this picture). You have to prove yourself all the time. So I decided I would become a writer instead.

One positive facet of globalization is that the fusion of creative elements from various cultures of the planet . The essence of this global shift has drastically changed the contemporary African art bazzar, rendering post modern representations of this great continent, its people and creatures in new and enlightening contexts.

African artist Wycliff Chagwi comes from the country of Kenya and may be a character immersed in obvious talent. A solemn man, he is a self taught artist who gets his ideas for subjects from photographs and life that he sees in his country of Kenya on a day to day basis. He paints mostly rural children that he sees within the villages of Kenya.

So, Hoodia Love? You'll be lovin' yourself more once you use Hoodia for controlling your appetite and losing the load you would like . If what they assert about this natural cactus plant is true, this might just be a miracle for many overweight people.

To understand church organization, we'd like to firstly consider the definition of organization. Several definitions have been stated: H.W. Byme, defines syllable  as "the breaking down of the responsibility of the group as a whole into parts which can be assigned to individuals and committees."1 Arthur Merrihew Adams defines it as 'the process of defining the activities of an enterprise, establishing the responsibilities and relationships of the persons involved, in order to accomplish the ends of the group.'2 Lloyd Perry puts it as "the strengthening of those human processes or syllation which improve the functioning of the organization so as that it achieves its distaination."3

But adaptation and trend shifting does not come without a price. Our Lord Jesus Christ left us a legacy which was tossed aside for many centuries, and which all of a sudden we found use for, as a matter of convenience rather than conviction. Doing God's work for the wrong reason equate to not doing it at all.

Exploring the Breath, Range, Character, Scope and Reception of Cyprian Ekwensi's Writings by Arthur Smith
Ekwensi (Best writers) one among Africa's most prolific writers who died late last year and was buried early this year, maintained a vibrant writing activity throughout his life, publishing a set of short stories, Cash On Service, his last work of fiction and completing work on his memoirs, titled, In My Time for several years on to his death. With over twenty novels, collections of stories and short novels to his name, Ekwensi's thematic preoccupation equally covered an honest range of situations a bit like the agricultural urban drift ,the Nigerian Civil War and their social effects on the characters as seen from the perspective of a journalist and life in a pastoral Fulani setting in Northern Nigeria.

One of the most distinguished poets of our time Claude McKay was born in Sunny Ville, Jamaica, British West Indies in September 15, 1889, as the youngest of eleven children of his peasant parents in Jamaica, Thomas Francis and Ann Elizabeth (Edwards) McKay. McKay's family was fairly well off having received land from the bride's and the groom's fathers. He is mostly known by his much-quoted sonnet: "If we Must Die" which was popularized during World War II by British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill. Raised in Sunny Ville, in Clarendon Hills Parish by a compassionate mother and a stern father who passed on to his children much of the Ashanti customs and traditions of Ghana where he hailed from, his poetry demonstrates his undying attachment to his roots and a deep affection for Clarendon where he was born and raised. Such nostalgia for Jamaica was demonstrated even in his later poems when abroad.

Guidance and counseling has a long history from their principles originated from ancient Greece and Rome with the philosophical teachings of Plato and Aristotle. But the history of school counseling formally started at the turn of the twentieth century. The origin of counseling in Tanzania in different forms and with different interpretations has existed in societies for a long time before colonial era. But like other places before colonial era there have been outstanding unique elements which held the societies together in their livelihood. Guidance and counseling practices development in Tanzanian schools can be traced back from the time when vocational education was emerging right at the colonial period and in post colonial era. The practices are traced in primary schools, secondary schools, vocational, career guidance and counseling and in tertiary level. There is a bad notion in Tanzania to some people that counseling is a crucial avenue for prevention of HIV infection through provision of adequate and relevant information, and for social and psychological support of individuals infected and suffering from the pandemic. The paper concludes that guidance and counseling been in school setting must be emphasized and given importance and support with competent personnel in all schools.

Uplift The Race - Three Spike Lee Joints by Ezra Stead
For twenty years now, ever since his debut feature She's Gotta Have It in 1986, Spike Lee (b. 1957) has been one of the most innovative and provocative directors of his time. As expressed numerous times throughout his many films, Lee's highest goal is to "wake up" and uplift all oppressed and deluded people, but he has an understandably primary thinking for his own people, the African-Americans who have been abused and misrepresented in the United States ever since before it was even called the United States.

In many parts of Africa, violence may be a rampant phenomenon and sometimes a taboo to deal with publicly. Many African countries treat it as a punishable offence constitutionally but typically fail in effective enforcement, thereby promoting the other to be administered regularly in society. In the Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C.), it is considered normal for males to beat females at their discretion! The predominant belief there's that ladies lack 'discipline', thus got to be 'corrected'. The results of that mentality is females growing up, commonly become victimized by varying sorts of violence .

Sinners, saints, atheists etc. suffer. Examples of inexplicable suffering could fill the shelves of the world's largest library, and every person on earth could contribute unique illustrations of his or her own. This has caused some to even make slick expressions like that of Archibald MacLeish who observed that "if God is God he is not good; if God is good he is not God" (Berner 1973, 18). The article attempts to analyze the concept of suffering in former and contemporary times.

Everywhere I go, Maltese people always ask why I set my novel on Malta. There are many good reasons why, the best being it couldn't have happened anywhere else.
